I believe that all individuals deserve to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. My goal is to help clients transition from a state of survival to conscious living. As a social work graduate, I carry a value of advocacy for all of my clients to lead healthy, self-fulfilling lives. I take an integrated approach to therapy meaning I use a combination of skills, techniques, and theories as it applies to each individual case. I believe that the strong relationship I carry with my clients are the foundation to health, wellness, and gaining greater insight into their symptoms and behaviors. I work solely with adults and carry a special interest in working to help connect the mind and body. I use the Polyvagal Theory to help promote understanding of our connectivity to our bodies, environment, and connection with others - through this lens I focus on helping clients heal through understanding that our nervous system has been built for survival since birth and in recognizing our survival states, we can then begin to heal. I enjoy working with parents - from supporting them in daily parenting struggles to helping identify and heal their inner child from generational wounds. I am EMDR-trained and can host consults with those interested in this method of treatment.
